Thursday - la meillure jour!

Jeudi/Thursday

Oui. C’est ça.

Ahhh, I don’t want to switch to English, actually, but it’s the fastest way to talk about everything that’s been happening, and I’ve also discovered that speaking English or listening to my English music sometimes doesn’t harm my progress. I think it actually clears my mind of all the clutter so that I can concentrate and communicate more clearly.

De toute façon, I’m much more settled now than I was earlier this week. Having a few days to figure things out has made a huge difference. I’m a lot more comfortable with my classes, making plans, attending the activities, navigating the city – tout les choses. And, I absolutely adore my host family (ma famille d’accueil). The more French I understand, the better the conversations are with Mme. Falardeau over breakfast and dinner (déjeuner et souper). This morning, we conversed on the topic of religion. C’était trés intéressant. Actually, a few days ago, the topic came up briefly when I mentioned that I heard the church bells ringing and she asked if I was Catholic. When I said that I was Protestant, she did some research for me to find a church nearby that I could attend on Sundays while I’m here. It was so considerate of her, and I’m really looking forward to worshiping with the Québecois this weekend. I’m researching the different congregations in the area right now.

Et cette chanson, j’adore ca:

Aussi, cette chanson est incroyable:
